MARITAL LIFE Marital life had not being counted as a vital thing before, but through the information heard at AICG, things are very, very change now I've understand that my home has a role to play in success of my Ministry. Also, my home is the first Ministry I have to manage well before the outer Ministry to this, I have being trying to organize my wife and children in a way that will be encourage my Ministry.
MINISTERIAL LIFE MINISTERIAL LIFE TALKS OF A LIFE THAT GODS SERVANT SHOULD LIVE Although, I have gone through Bible College but I do not practice as this institute.
I thank God now most of the things that I have being doing with levity of hand in my ministry have I re-handled very serious now. I will mention some areas in my ministerial life that AICG impacted. My preaching change my vision for the ministry is open to me, I am also know how to achieve it.
Infact the saying is true that the eyes that are looks are common, but eyes that see are rare. The heart of dealing with the laity it has come to my knowledge, the church cannot grow and stable without train laity to engage in ministerial work.
Church growth had gave me knowledge of how to ought to do with Church Members to assimilate them so as to close the back door in my church.
FINANCIAL LIFE Without find no function I thank God from the day I here from financially buoyancy that is the day I no how to ask money. This had blessed me and prepared me for future because I have been pasturing in the church talk about money people will not respond but now God has being open easy way of doing it for me. Halleluyah. FINANCIALLY I thought asking money from the members in term of offering and tithes is a sin without knowing that I have been depriving them of their blessing because of what [Luke 6:38] says. give and it shall be given unto you, god pressure, pressed down, shaking together without them giving they cannot be at the receiving edges, since we have been teaching on giving most of our members have accostomed to giving that with it God things can come to them, most of them because of giving have bought cars, building houses of their own; because the bible says in Hag.2:8 silver and gold is mine, and there is one that scatter yet increaseth, there is one that withhold yet tendereth to lacking.

In the areas where it has affected my life most seriously is that I discovered that the old styles of presentation of the gospel has failed for the reason that the old time dogmatic doctrine had been over-stretched with time and have lost its grip on this present generation.
Like for example, when we came to the Lord in the early 70s we accepted the gospel on the ground of eternal life that was preached to us and not for anything material in all forms, but that do not grip people so much again unless something first happens that will lead them to their need of salvation for their souls.
This is not also supposed to be new, for it has been the content of the gospel right from the on set because our Lord Himself said that, if people do not see signs and wonders, they will not believe (John 4:48).
Another example is in the area of money in the Church, the issue that we have been treating as sacrilege to preach or mention among the people of God which has really retarded the growth of the church for the lack of finance needed to meet the need of the people and the programmes that would have tremendously bless the church of God and elevate God's glory.
Again, as I said earlier on that to arrange some of the benefits in sequence order would have been a problem for me, though, we have been using drum-set in our church, but I did not make the is not relevant to what the scripture says that: the drum best use of this blessing because of my orientation that the drum is not relevant to what the scripture says that: REV. Church growth has impacted my life and ministry so much, I wish to relate some of my experience below: Before coming in contact with church growth ministry.
I was fed up with ministry despite the various training received from over four bible colleges and several conference attended, I still don't know how to do ministry, I could not develop myself to make maximum impact, motivating members toward achieving a goal was a problem but thank God for church growth, that has helped me redefine my vision, taught me how to run with my vision.
Dr. Akin - John in his seminar paper "kinds of vision" made me understand that Godly vision is divine assignment, purpose and task for my life; my effectiveness in life and ministry depends so much on my God given vision, without vision, I have no direction, no motivation and nothing to live for because vision is my compass, my driving force and propeller. THE IMPACT OF CHURCH GROWTH IN MY LIFE I, first of all give thanks to God, in sparing, my life and bring me in contact with church growth because it has really bring (change in to my life, and I can see that all the lecture in church growth service past through me and I past through the lecture For confirmations, these are the impact that it makes in my life.
STABLE AND FERVENT PRAYER LIFE. My prayer like before is not good as I want but when I come in contact with Church growth lecture. What I first discover is that they have forty percent lecture and sixty percents prayer this one make me to seat tie, that I must make something out with my prayer life, I don't know how to pray ajigigaja prayer before, but we finished first semester I can take note that I have changed in my prayer life.
With this I can notice also that people also take note of this in me, some people, always say, when I conduct a prayer that I touch their life, after some will say you really change us with your prayer today, with this I am giving all glory to almighty God. BRO. PAUL BALOGUN
FAMILY LIFE Ever Before coming in contact with church growth, I have been managing the family the way I thought it is best, but church growth threw light on it, I have come to understand that time spent with wife and children is not time wasted, rather it is time invested.
It is now so clear to me that no matter the level of anointing on any man if his family is not even organized he cannot handle or organize the church of God well. And that when the spirit of your wife is not with you, god will hardly hear you.
So church growth has made me to real have a second thought over my life and family, which I am now having the best of time with. I have come to appreciate the fact that what one does not know is capable of killing him. Church growth therefore is an eye opener, I don't actually know what any pastor who has not attended it will be preaching or ministering no matter his theological background.
Up till this moment it is still a surprise to all the family members as to what must have happened. The full support of my wife in my ministry is no more a day dream, it has become a reality. UCHENNA IFEJILIKA .L.
PERSONAL GROWTH I thank God Almighty who in his infinite mercy has not allowed me to decay physically and spiritually in my ignorance because, without growth, decay and death will set in. The Lord in his divine arrangement use African Institute of church growth to bring life growths and changes into my personal life.
lnfact, I can boldly say I met the Lord in this institute. Before now, I thought with my school certificate I can't do anything but church growth institute has thought me on how to improve and upgrade myself. I now read books, I mean good books by good authors that can bring growth, changes and improvement to my life, I cherish them and they are really improving my intellectual.
Moreover, I now know my God given vision for my life and ministry, and how to use it to bring growth to my church. Long ago, the Lord had been pointing me to my area of calling but, I didn't know. I kept observing that each time I consciously or unconsciously do it, it usually bring good report and people testify to it and I find it easy doing it. I never knew God was calling me to work for him in his vine yard in that particular area at all.
Knowledge is actually power. I came to church growth and my eyes was opened through the dynamic spirit filled lecturers in the institute and my God given vision for my life was made more clearer and brighter through their teachings and prayers amidst lectures, this is marvelous. THE IMPACT OF CHURCH GROWTH IN MY LIFE AND MINISTRY I thank God who has given me the opportunity to enroll in church growth institute as a student. It is a divine arrangement for me to come in contact with the chancellor of the institute', Dr. Francis Akin John. Church growth institute stands out by the quality of its lecturers and the intellectual and spiritual levels of the lectures. I have come to know more deeply the principles of church planting and growth.
The institute taught us many courses during the three semesters with additional courses on praise dynamics and Christian home all of which impacted knowledge, skills and Christian values to the students. These courses made me to experience the realities of God's call upon my life.
My relationship with my wife has changed since I joined this institute, before I don't create time to play with my wife and children but the president of church growth institute said your home comes first after God.
Our church is making a great impact and mark in the community. Through the teachings I received I was able to mobilize and organize my workers together and we did prayer walk round the entire community with powerful declarations and decrees to break down evil altars that have long held our church to ransom. This exercise has brought spiritual revival among the youths.
Through the teachings I received in church growth institute, I fall in love with books more than ever especially the ones on leadership and church growth. As a result I have bought many books, teaching tapes, conferences materials. My new romance. PASTOR EMMANUEL UKO
